The long-awaited film Neelofar, starring Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan, has finally unveiled its official poster along with a confirmed release date: November 28.
The poster was revealed via a joint Instagram post by the actors and the film’s team. The animated reveal begins with Fawad’s voice saying, “Neelofar naam hai uska” (Her name is Neelofar). In the image, Mahira’s fingers gently touch Fawad’s face while he keeps his eyes closed, evoking a sense of unspoken emotion.
Although plot details remain tightly under wraps, sources indicate that Mahira plays a visually impaired woman named Neelofar, while Fawad portrays a writer. The film is directed and written by Ammar Rasool, produced by Usaf Shariq, and executive produced by Fawad and Hassaan Khalid. The soundtrack will be composed by Zeeshan “Vicky” Haider.
Along with the lead pair, Neelofar features an ensemble cast including Madiha Imam, Sarwat Gilani, Atiqa Odho, Behroz Sabzwari, Gohar Rasheed, Faisal Qureshi, Samiya Mumtaz, and others.
The film’s journey has been a long one: shooting wrapped in 2020, and previous release promises were postponed multiple times. With this official announcement, the team appears ready to finally deliver the project to audiences.
Audiences now have one date to mark: 28 November — the day Neelofar will premiere in cinemas.
