Television actress Sarah Omair, remembered for her impactful performances in Roug, Kathputli, Maaye Nee and her debut in Thora Sa Aasma on PTV in 2008, has confirmed her separation from director Mohsin Talat.
After stepping away from television for several years following her marriage, Sarah devoted herself to family life and raising her two sons. Her recent appearance in Tamasha Season 4 marked her return to the screen, but behind the comeback lay a story of personal struggle.
In an interview, Sarah spoke openly about the challenges she faced in the aftermath of her divorce. “The decision became final only a few months before Tamasha. It was a very disturbing time for me, both mentally and emotionally. I was navigating life as a single parent and it was overwhelming,” she revealed.
She said the reality show offered her a form of refuge. “I wanted to be in a place where there were no phones, no signals, no constant reminders. I needed peace of mind, and Allah gave me that opportunity through Tamasha,” she shared.
Sarah acknowledged that the conflicts within the show felt minor compared to the difficulties she had endured privately. “For someone who has been through so much, Tamasha felt like a piece of cake,” she reflected.
Her candour has drawn widespread empathy, with fans appreciating her courage to confront such a personal upheaval in the public eye. For many, her story has become a reminder of the resilience it takes to carry forward after heartbreak, and the quiet strength required to begin again
