Gold prices in Pakistan slipped on Saturday, reflecting the downward movement in international markets.
According to data shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold fell by Rs600 per tola to settle at Rs422,462. The rate for 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs514, closing at Rs362,193.
A day earlier, the yellow metal had remained steady at Rs423,062 per tola. The international price of gold also inched lower, declining by $6 to $4,001 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as per the association’s data.
Silver followed the same trend, with its price slipping by Rs18 per tola to Rs5,094.
Despite frequent fluctuations, gold prices have shown little overall movement in recent days. Compared with the previous Saturday’s rate of Rs422,562 per tola, the price has increased by just Rs100 over the past week.
